property ladder
I love Property Ladder on TLC...and since getting our dvr, I've become a regular viewer. This show is addictive! It seems like no matter how organized the people on the show are, something always goes hideously wrong - schedules, budgets. It's like watching a car accident. Every time!
There's a flip down our street, it went on the market about 3 weeks ago. All eyes are on it to see what will happen, when it will sell. I should take a picture of it to show you. The market around here has gotten so soft. Just imagining what it must be like to be the owners and trying to sell makes me a little uneasy...

I also love Property Ladder. It always amazed me how many folks go into a flip with no idea of what stuff costs. I also don't understand when they get greedy at the end and jack their price up only to watch their profits dwindle due to carrying costs. I don't think I've ever seen a show that didn't go horribly wrong. I guess that's what makes it such a fun show to watch :0)
Don't you just love dvr? I find my TV watching has become more "productive" -- I can watch what I like when I want it, instead of just surfing channels for something good. Plus, you can watch things faster, without ads, and we tape movies to watch on weekends instead of renting DVDs. I love it!
I get sucked in to Property Ladder all the time. Sometimes I think the people get so wrapped up in expensive projects and ignoring other important jobs, instead of just making everything nicer in the houses. And the house prices in California are just insane!
One of my favorite shows ever! My boyfriend and his family flip, I helped with the last one totally enjoy! It is fun to watch the transformation!
