un-phased

It's still quite chilly outside - definitely not time for sandals yet - but I'm not concerned. These pink beauties arrived in the mail a few days ago to carry me through the cold spring days and nights. Do you recognize them? If you are a clog fanatic like I am, then you know they are by Dansko. Circa 2006. I should have bought them when they first came out last year, but I hemmed and hawed and waited too long. Thank goodness for ebay.

Me and pink, pink and me. We seem to be enjoying quite a bit of each other these days. I told my mom that I was going through a "pink phase". That was 2 years ago. Clearly, it's not over yet. Who knew? Not me. I don't remember being a "pink" person when I was a little girl. Quite the opposite now that I'm all grown up and sharing a house with a group of boys. Could it be that my new love of all things pink is an(other) attempt to reinforce my feminine side, now that I'm surrounded by trucks and trains, tractors and race cars, baseballs and footballs? I'm sure stranger things have happened.

I sport a pair of Dansko clogs almost daily, as do my girls! We live in the middle of nowhere! Target and a decent mall are all a 40 minute drive. BUT, the Dansko Head Quarters is around the corner from me. 50% off retail...I am there at least once a week!

hqm...oh my...what kind of bribes would you accept in order for me to get in on that 50% off deal?

just kidding.

Ahh...pink! I was just thinking I needed more pink too! I have been buying so much navy lately since it is very "in" this spring but it just doesn't do it for me like pink. Pink just makes a girl feel pretty!

I too have been going through a drawn out, 2-3 year long pink phase. Pink makes me happy. Can't explain it. Everyone I work with wears black, grey, brown... etc. and then I walk in all pink and perky. Funny.

I keep a list of styles and sizes for my friends in my wallet!

These are SO PRECIOUS! If I had them, I would wear them all the time - perhaps even to bed! I adore.

I just discovered your blog and I am adding it to my list of blogs I visit. I don't want to lose it like I do some of them!
I know what you mean about pink. I've been in a pink mode for a few years - my favorite color has always been red -- so I guess it is in the same color family.
Love those clogs!
