week - ?
It's been awhile since my last report on the house across the street. Let's see...I believe according to the last post that we are somewhere around week 20. As you can see, the driveway has been added and most of the exterior finishes on the house look complete. Most!
Pretty exciting stuff. I know I've mentioned this before, but my kids with their Bob the Builder obsession...they just don't realize how lucky they are to have witnessed this kind of construction from their bedroom windows. I think they are taking it for granted. Big Scoop and Dizzy won't be coming around here much longer. At least, not until the next tear down...

Wow! I guess it has been a while since you posted a picture because they were no where near completion then.
Also, I'm glad that you weren't offended at my previous LONG comment about autism. I know nothing about it and my prayers are with you and your son.
Love,
Julie
the red fire hydrant is entirely too cute!
it is coming along so well!
Wow Meg,
That house is looking so pretty.
It must be amazing to watch it getting better and better.
Have a fun weekend!

The house is looking very nice, indeed! How fun it surely has been to watch a house being constructed. I would love to have that opportunity myself.
This is a really cute house!
I appreciate your views on autism too in your previous blog... from my limited experience in teaching different children of varying abilities with autism, it is so hard to put every child into a certain description and prescription. But there's one thing they all share-- great moms and dads who do know what's best and love them like no one else could! I give you tons of kudos for the challenges you face every day and the love that you give!!!
I love that house. Such character. I wish I could tour the inside.
I just love that house. So very cute.
Now how are you going to get us interior pictures....you can't possibly leave us hanging!!!!
The neighbors house is coming along beautifully. It must be fun to watch.
Hi Meg, I was blog hopping and checking out links on some of the blogs and came across your blog. I just wanted to say I like your blog and I love your before and after pics of your home!! Love your taste in decorating. We like alot of the same colors and styles. Love the color combo in your kitchen!
Pattie :)
Yes, it's fun watching remodeling and building - it's even more fun when it's your own house!(as we did last year).. And I love that fire hydrant!
How fun to watch a house being built! I was facinated when ours was...coming out to the site almost every day to see what was new! Sending love and hugs your way to you and your precious family.

wow, that house is coming along. I love the look of it. I know what you mean about being lucky to see this happening. We drive by a place where they took a large hill down and placed a road.....it was interesting to see the progress. Lucas has completly forgotten about it. :(
