snow day!
It started snowing yesterday afternoon and ended around 9 a.m. this morning. From the various reports, it seems we got somewhere between 10-12 inches.
This morning the school district called with a prerecorded message around 5:45 a.m., letting us know that school would be cancelled for the day. When my husband got dressed and headed outside to fire up the snowblower, it was like a party outside. All the men on the street were out there in their gear, doing the same thing.

Those are two of SB's favorite foods .... although I find myself sitting here wondering WHY I've never served them together before. ?????
Such a sweet photo! We had much of the same weather - lots of snow.

I love your photos of the snow. They are lovely.
Happy February to you too.
What a wonderful day! Isn't it funny how kids get that whole "snow day" mentality? Hot dogs, and mac & cheese is a favorite here as well.
OH thank you for the beautiful pictures! I grew up in Ohio and sooo miss the snow! Your boys are adorable and I love the picture of them at the table... a snow day home with mom, mac and cheese and hot dogs... does it get any better??? : )

Ooooohhhh, how wonderful to be able to have a snow day! Over here, they have to send the children home from school if the temps reach 45 deg cel (113 deg f). Enjoy your white paradise!

Snow DAY! I remember the snowy views from when we were up Nawth, though we rarely got a day off because of it. I actually liked getting out in the early morning and looking at it all as I drove the kids to school (I guess that would be the southerner in me that was just wonderous by it all).
