stay warm!

I'm posting from up my son's room, the sunniest one in the house. We woke up this morning with cold noses. I said to my husband, did you turn the heat off? no! He did not! aah! It is broken! The thermometer says 49 degrees in here.

Friends, today's high is -1. Currently it is -2. We have just had the heat tech arrive. As soon as things are squared away with him, we're outta here!

Oh no, Meg, bundle up, snuggle down and stay warm! I seriously understand the misery, I just posted this to my tumblelog yesterday:

I just had a heart to heart with our boiler. “Boiler,” I said, “I would like for you to work properly.” The boiler replied that she would think on it and get back to me.

Argh.

Hope the tech arrived quickly and that you found a warmer place to hang out for awhile.

Brrrrr....That sounds so cold! We had a warm streak this weekend which is nice since it was wet and cold for two weeks straight. It's 65 degrees today. It feels like Spring but I know it will probably get cold and rainy soon!

my girls fuss at me because i usually run our heater around 63--we get full sunlight in the house so i think its warm & cozy. plus i don't like the feel of stagnant heat....but 43!!!

Our heater went our a couple of weeks ago, turned out to be a clogged filter. Hope your heater is an easy fix as well. Try and stay warm :0)

Oh, how I wish to be cold, how I wish for a real winter. It's been in the 80's here in Georgia.

Libby - you make me laugh!

TM - yes, he arrived and fixed things quickly, so thank you!

Kristen, thank you!

Cindy - I'm jealous.

Paige - ditto!

Laurie Anne - thankfully, ours was an easy fix too. Scary though, isn't it? when you don't know.

Christy - I understand how it feels to want to be somewhere different. How would you feel about a houseswap?

Meg- I do hope it has gotten fixed quickly.

We are on the other end of the weather spectrum. We had to turn on the AC this last week. One day I forgot to switch it off at night. It got to 67 in the house. Not too bad, but the kids little footsies were FREEZING when they woke up!
